Cleaning Solution's

  1. A non-iodized sea salt mixture (Dead Sea salt is for sale at jay's): Dissolve 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized (iodine-free) sea salt into one cup (8oz) of warm distilled or bottled water. A stronger mixture is not better; a saline solution that is too strong can irritate the piercing.

  2. A mild, fragrance-free liquid soap-preferably anti-microbial or germicidal. (Dr. bronner's soap for sale at jay's)

Basic Directions

  1. Wash hands.
  2. Saline soak your piercing (see picture above) for 5 - 10 minutes.
  3. Clean with Anti-bacterial soap.
  4.  Rinse with clean water.
  5. Gently pat dry.

Do this twice a day. Morning and night.
